As a fashion brand, collaborating with bloggers and influencers during the holiday season is an excellent way to increase brand awareness, website traffic and boost sales.
However, before you start contacting bloggers, it’s important that you first have a goal in mind and a specific campaign idea to pitch them that authentically incorporates your product into their content. The more organized you are with what you want and the incentive for the blogger, the more likely they’ll be willing to partner.
Here are five ways you can collaborate with bloggers this holiday season:
Outfit posts are one of the easiest ways to collaborate with bloggers and expose their audience to your brand. Ask bloggers to incorporate your product/designs into their holiday outfits posts on their blog and/or Instagram.
Almost all bloggers will be putting together a gift guide for their readers. Contact bloggers and ask them to include your product and designs in their holiday gift guide this season. TIP: Make sure you consider the bloggers audience before you pitch. If the blogger you’re interested in is a budget conscious influencer whose niche is dressing fashionable on a budget, they probably won’t include your $200 shirt in their gift guide.

Create a holiday lookbook featuring a top blogger as the model or, have the blogger style each look. TIP: This would be a great opportunity for video content as well.
HOST HOLIDAY EVENT
Have a studio or a boutique? Why not throw a holiday shopping event or trunk show with champagne, light eats and ask a blogger to host? This is a really great way to build an in-person relationship with the blogger and your customers and encourage press write ups about the event. Don’t have a space? Partner with another designer/boutique owner that does and triple your brand awareness.
Host a holiday giveaway and incorporate a blogger. Ask blogger to run the contest on their social channels/blog and you give away the prize to the completion winner.
